Wheathampstead Osteopathic Clinic - Osteopathic care for the local community

A little bit about Wheathampstead Osteopathic Clinic:

Wheathampstead Osteopathic Clinic practices osteopathy, a regulated profession which offers a safe form of manual therapy to treat a wide variety of health complaints.

Osteopaths use techniques such as articulation, physical manipulation, stretching and massage to increase the mobility of joints, relieve muscle tension, enhance the blood and nerve supply to tissues, and to help your body’s own healing mechanisms. The clinic also provides advice on posture and exercise to aid recovery, promote health and prevent symptoms recurring.

As a full member of the General Osteopathic Council, the clinic are also required to maintain our skills through ongoing training and professional development.  They are also a member of the Institute of Osteopathy, which exists to promote the latest knowledge and promote best practice in osteopathy.

Who Started Wheathampstead Osteopathic Clinic? What's their story?

Wheathampstead Osteopathic Clinic opened in 2012, with the aim to serve the people of Wheathampstead and the surrounding villages.

The owner and principal is Chenine Bruley, born and bred in Hertfordshire. Chenine got her her first degree in Human Biology from King's College London. Inspired by her interest and understanding in anatomy, physiology and the way the body functions, Chenine went on to the British School of Osteopathy, graduating with a Masters of Osteopathy (M.Ost).

Her friendly and conscientious approach to patient care means that every patient is treated as an individual and each treatment is focused to that person.
