Karen’s business started in 2010, just before the birth of her twins.
She was a serving police officer at the time, and a frustrated entrepreneur (having had her own business whilst studying at University) and wanted to build something up slowly ready for retirement from public service in 2018.
Karen had previously been a customer, and saved herself hundreds of pounds, and so thought this would be a great business to get in to, and help others in the process.
When her twins were born, her little boy was diagnosed with Down Syndrome. Karen’s reason then changed a little and she’s now building the business to ensure guaranteed residual income for him when she’s gone.
Karen has lived in Wheathampstead for over 20 years. She’s on the Lower Luton Road, and lives with her partner Pete and their twins.
Karen loves to shop local, so you’ll probably have seen her logo’d mini pottering around the village.
